KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has launched much delayed salary payment for government employees from today (Saturday), an official said.
MoFA Spokesperson Ahmad Wali Haqmal told reporters here the reason behind delay in the payment of August, September and October salaries to ensure balance and transparency.
He did not provide more information but added most of the employees’ July salaries had been paid under the old system due to the lack of time.
He said the work related to balancing the salaries has been approved by the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and the Administrative Affairs Office . . .
