KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): The price of chemical fertilizers in northern Kunduz province has risen by up to 90 cent this year compared to previous years, a number of farmers said on Sunday.
The farmers complain that they cannot afford to buy fertilizer and as a result some of their land remained uncultivated.
One of them, Ahmad Khan, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the price of chemical fertilizers in the province had risen sharply this year.
"The price of chemical fertilizers has gone up so much that we can't afford it. Most of our land is left uncultivated," he said . . .
