PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): The residents of central Logar province have demanded of the government to pave the way for legal excavation of chromite reserves in the province in order to create jobs for locals and revenue for the government.
Three major chromite reserves exist in Logar which were excavated illegally in the past but that practice has stopped at the moment.
Common people hailed the halt to illegal excavation and stressed the government should facilitate legal mining of natural reserves.
