ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Community Monitoring Group says the shortage of medicine and electricity problem in the Community Health Clinic (CHC) in Sarkano district of eastern Kunar province have been resolved.
The two problems were resolved by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in cooperation with Humanitarian Assistance Empowerment Organization (HAEO).
Sarkano is one of populous districts in Kunar province located along the Durand Line. There are six clinics in the district which provide health services to 113,500 people.
CHC Clinic in Sarkano district provides health services to 10,407 people and 250 to 300 patients visit it daily.
