KABUL (Pajhwok): Turkey on Tuesday provided food in assistance to 1,000 needy families in the capital Kabul.
During distribution of the aid, Turkish envoy to Afghanistan, CihadErginay, said that his country had assisted the Afghans in various fields since the last 20 years, a process he added would continue.
He said that Turkey would increase its assistance to Afghan children and poor families and asked the international community to provide humanitarian aid to needy Afghans.
The Turkish ambassador said they distributed food to 1,000 needy families provided by the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority.
