TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Reconstruction work on a key bridge that connects hundreds of villages in two districts --- Chora and Chinartu ---has begun in central Uruzgan province.
The bridge known as Badwali is in the Chora district, which was devastated by floods five years ago.
Maulvi Nizami, director of public works, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the reconstruction work of the bridge had been started by the department's technical team.
He added that the reconstruction of the bridge was started following repeated requests from the people and would be completed in the next few weeks.
