JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Fifteen armed individuals have been arrested in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, and some districts during search operation, intelligence sources said on Saturday.
Intelligence Department Spokesperson Khalil Hamraz on his twitter handler wrote some weapons and explosive materials kept illegally seized in the past two weeks.
He added 15 people had been arrested by intelligence forces during search operations in connection to recovered weapons.
Nangarhar Information Department acknowledged the operations were held in Jalalabad and some districts.
