HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Health officials in western Herat province complain about the presence of huge quantity of low quality medicines smuggled into the country from Pakistan.
Herat Health Department Deputy Head Mohammad Asif Kabir told Pajhwok Afghan News the smuggling of medicines to Herat from Pakistan should be stopped at it was a real threat to people’s health.
He demanded of security personnel to deal with smugglers of low quality medicines harshly because the smuggling of low quality medicine had become a routine matter.
