HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Officials say Turkey is willing to buy saffron produced in western Herat province, welcoming the expansion of economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Governor Maulana Noor Ahmad Islamyar met Turkey’s Deputy Ambassador Changis Idimir and stressed the need to boost cooperation between the two countries.
During his trip to Herat City, the Turkish diplomat also called for friendly bilateral relations and efforts to strengthen economic and cultural ties between the two countries.
The deputy ambassador expressed his country’s willingness to buy saffron from Herat province and cooperate in this regard with Afghan authorities . . .
