KABUL (Pajhwok): Former President Hamid Karzai has discussed humanitarian aid and education in Afghanistan with US special envoy to Afghanistan in a telephonic conversation.
Former president's spokesman YousufSaha told Pajhwok Afghan News that Karzai held talks with US special envoy to Afghanistan Thomas West on Monday evening.
Saha added that the talks focused on facilitating humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan, providing assistance to teachers and health workers, and promoting education in Afghanistan, particularly for girls.
However, the ex-president’s spokesman did not provide further details about the conversation.
