FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Forty three people including 23 girls have graduated from the nursing section of Ghazanfar Health Sciences Institute in the capital of western Farah province.

Dr. Mahtab Amin, head of the institute, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the graduates attended their graduation ceremony in presence of local officials.

The education process in the state-run institute which operates under the auspices of Farah Public Health Department is going normal without any interruptions, he said.

One of the graduates, Samira, asked Farah Public Health Department to create jobs for the graduates so they would be able to earn their living and serve their people.

Dr. MuzammilShinwari, Farah public health director, talking to the ceremony, said that 43 people received their certificates in nursing after three years of education and Farah Public Health Department was ready to work for finding jobs for them.

“The Islamic Emirate is committed to education and progress of youths in various educational fields,” he said.

Ghazanfar Health Sciences Institute has been active in Farah province since 1986 and so far 32 batches have graduated from the institute’s nursing, midwifery and laboratory sections.
