KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH)on Tuesday said 88 people have been infected with coronavirus and two people died of the infection in the past 24 hours in the country.
Dr.JavidHajir, a spokesman for MoPH, told Pajhwok Afghan News that 949 coronavirus tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, in which 88 people tested positive for the virus.
He said 31 of the virus cases were detected in Nangarhar, 29 in Kabul, 16 in Kandahar, seven in Maidan Wardak, five in Helmand and one in Herat province.
