FAIZABAD: (Pajhwok): Officials of northeastern Badakhshan province say the income of the provincial Revenue Office has dropped by 52 percent following political changes in the country and coronavirus restrictions.
MulaviNisar Ahmad Ahmadi, Badakhshan deputy governor, during a ceremony of Tax Week in Faizabad, the provincial capital, said efforts were underway to fill the financial vacuum until the end of the outgoing solar year.
He termed tax payment a religious and moral duty, saying that tax collection was the economic backbone of the country and people should firmly cooperate in payment of taxes that determine the fate of their country.
