KABUL (Pajhwok): The Cabinet approved bus service from Jalalabad to Peshawar and from Kandahar to Quetta and decided that revenues of all government departments should be submitted in bank.
The cabinet said no government department has the right to spend its revenue by itself in the future.
A statement from the Office of Administrative Affairs received by Pajhwok Afghan News said that the cabinet approved the procedures of charity unions after being reviewed and edited by the Ministry of Justice.
The source says tax and non-tax revenues came up for discussion during the meeting and as a result, it was decided that revenues should be collected only through banks.
The cabinet decided no government agency has the right to spend its revenues from now onwards.
The statement said the cabinet also approved round-trip bus service from Jalalabad to Peshawar and from Kandahar to Quetta, and relevant departments were instructed to complete the remaining stages of the process in a short period of time.
According to the source, the Ministry of Martyrs and the Disabled was tasked with preparing a plan to help members of the previous government with disabilities, paralyzed people and orphans and then share it with the cabinet.
A team of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock was also tasked to specify land for foreign investors in the agricultural sector and presenting their plans with the cabinet.
Mulavi Mohammad YaqubMujahid, acting defense minister and Mulavi Abdul RahmanRashed, acting agriculture minister, briefed the cabinet on their recent trips to northern provinces.
The statement said that the agriculture minister shared the problems and demands of farmers of the northern provinces with the cabinet.
Mulavi Amir Khan Mottaqi, acting foreign minister, briefed the cabinet about his three-day trip to Oslo, the statement concluded.
