KABUL (Pajhwok): Special envoys of Iran and Qatar have exchanged views on cooperation on the situation in Afghanistan.
Iranian special representative for Afghanistan Hassan Kazemi Qomi and Qatari diplomat Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani met in Doha, a media report said.
Tasnim news agency quoted Qomi as saying that their talks were largely focused on Tehran-Doha cooperation on Afghanistan-related issues.
Iran says it has been in touch with all Afghan factions, including the Taliban, urging the creation of a broad-based government in Kabul.
