KABUL (Pajhwok): US Special Envoy for Afghan Women, Girls, and Human Rights Rina Amiri asked the Taliban to respect human rights if they want to be recognized by the international community.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said it had sought information from the Interior Ministry on reports of the arrest of two other female activists in Kabul yesterday.
UNAMA said the United Nations was once again demanding the release of all "missing" female activists and their friends.
