GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): The World Food Program (WFP) has started distribution of food items to 3,500 needy families in Muqur and Aab Band districts of southern Ghazni province, officials said Monday.
Mansoor Afghan, spokesman for the Information and Culture Department of Ghazni, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the food aid launched by WFP would benefit families who were in dire economic situation.
Each family will receive two bags of flour, two barrels of ghee, salt and food for babies, he said.
People who received the aid are happy and asked for just distribution of the relief items.
