KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior said on Saturday a security plan for the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India) gas pipeline project has been shared with Turkmen officials.
Practical work on the multibillion dollars gas pipeline would be launched in near future, MoI promised in a brief statement.
It added the security plan for the TAPI project had been shared with Turkmen authorities.
Representatives of interior and defence ministries met Turkmen Ambassador Khwaja Awazov and TAPI project executive director Mirat Amanov on the security plant for the mega scheme.
The Turkmen ambassador and CEO of the TAPI project expressed happiness with the security plan and hoped its implementation would begin in near future.
