Work on four projects kicks off in Lashkargah

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Work on four key projects has been launched in Lashkargah, the capital of southern Helmand province, an official said on Monday.

Lashkargah Municipality Spokesperson Mohammad TahirAbshar said the projects worth 20 million afs were funded from the development budget of the municipality.

The projects include construction of parks, a canal, and sapling plantation scheme, he said, adding that next year municipality will implement 20 more projects at a cost of 132 million afs.
