PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): The acting education minister says the Islamic Emirate is not against girls’ education and they will be allowed to study at schools meeting the required conditions.
Noorullah Munir, during a visit to northern Baghlan province, met with government officials and teachers on Sunday afternoon.
Munir promised schools in villages as well as cities would reopen to all Afghans in accordance with Islamic principles.
He said girls' schools had reopened in some provinces. Schools in other areas would also gradually reopen once they met the required conditions.
