KABUL (Pajhwok): The passport distribution process has been suspended for four days in order to resolve technical issues.
Eng. Izam, deputy spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, tweeted: “There were some problems in the process of providing passport services due to the large number of applications.”
The passport department would enhance its capacity and technical equipment so that applicants easily obtained passports.
He said the leadership of the department intended to improve their capacity to facilitate the passport distribution process for Afghan citizens so that applicants could obtain their passports without wasting time.
