FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Health officials, concerned at the outbreak of measles in Badghis province, say more than 350 children have been infected with the disease and four have died in the last two months.
Public Health Director Mohammad Asif Qant told Pajhwok Afghan News: “More than 350 children have been infected with measles, and four of them have lost their lives so far. This is a worrying situation. We are doing our best to control the disease.”
He said the situation had improved in recent weeks but they were still working with the World Health Organisation to send teams to affected . . .
