KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Security officials in northern Kunduz province say four people have been arrested in connection with the killing of seven vaccinators and two security personnel.
MulaviNajibullahHaroon, Kunduz intelligence chief, said: “We have arrested four people in connection with the killing of two Mujahidin and seven vaccinators in Kunduz.”
He said that the detainees had confessed to their crime.
On the other hand, Qadir, a person involved in the killing of vaccinators and a soldier, said: “I am from Kunduz province and I was working in the academy; I was a bodyguard of Commander Mobin, after the fall of Kunduz, we fled to Panjshir province, I was ordered in Panjshir to go to Kunduz and kill both the vaccinators and Mujahidin, I confess to my crime.”
Around a month ago, nine vaccinators were killed on the same day in Kunduz and Takhar provinces.
