FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Some residents of northeastern Badakhshan province have demanded rehabilitation of the historic Pul-a-Kheshti Bridge that connects old Faizabad City with the new Faizabad City and districts.
They warned that the bridge was on the verge of collapse and asked relevant government authorities to take steps for the rehabilitation of this historic facility.
According to residents, the bridge is 300 years old and connects old Faizabad City with the News Faizabad City and Argo, Darayim and Kishim districts.
Moving forward the road goes to Takhar, Kunduz, Baghlan and Parwan provinces while in the past the old Silk . . .
