SHARAN (Pajhwok): World Health Organization (WHO) has provided a PCR machine worth $150,000 to provincial hospital of southeastern Paktika province.
Dr. IsmatullahHikmat, director of public health, told Pajhwok Afghan News with the machine availability patients do not need to go to other provinces for tests.
“Earlier, patients for PCR test used to go to other provinces but the facility is now available in the provincial hospital.”
He added black jaundice, white jaundice, anemia and other tests could be done in Shahran, the provincial capital, anymore.
