FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Local officials in northeastern Badakhshan province on Sunday marking the World Tuberculosis Day said that over 1,000 cases of TB were registered in the province in the last one year.
Dr. Qutbuddin Baromand, in charge of TB section in Badakhshan Public Health Department, told a ceremony held on the occasion of World Tuberculosis that a total of 1036 positive cases of the disease were detected in the province in 1400 solar year.
