KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): A UN-Habitat project in southern Kandahar province generated 840 work opportunities for the people.
The project included sapling plantation, cleaning of streams and roadsides
Kandahar Municipality Cleanliness and Greenery Department Head Habibullah Bashardost told Pajhwok Afghan News UN-Habitat has launched a joint project with the Kandahar Municipality in which 840 people from the 84 communities will be able to get work opportunities.
He said the project from one angle will help implement cleanliness and greenery activities of the city and from another angle, it will generate jobs for the people.
