KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghan Embassy in Moscow was handed over to appointed diplomat. Spokesperson of foreign ministry announced on Saturday.
"The MoFA of IEA expresses gratitude to government of the Russian Federation for accrediting the Afghan diplomat & facilitating the role of the Afghan Embassy in ensuring bilateral relations & providing timely services to its citizens in Russia." Spokesman Qahar Balkhis said in a tweet late Saturday night.
As the legitimate government of Afghanistan, the IEA is entitled to managing Afghan political missions abroad & engaging responsibly with the world. He added.
