MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok): Officials of the Agriculture and Livestock Department of eastern Laghman province say dairy products’ processing in the province has declined compared to last year.
Mohammad Masoom Ahmadi, director of livestock, told Pajhwok Afghan News that 557640 liters of milk was processed last solar compared to 463860 liters this year.
He said 92,000 liters of milk was processed in the first month of last year. However, the volume of processed milk in the first month of this year has been reduced to 67,000 liters.
