KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): The Education Department in northern Kunduz province says it has organised nine-month literacy courses for more than 2,000 people this year.
Maulvi Ismail Abu Ahmad, director of education, told Pajhwok Afghan News 95 literacy courses were arranged in the provincial capital and districts this year.
He said the courses created literacy opportunities for more than 2,000 people.
“In the provincial capital and districts of Kunduz, the literacy programme covered 2,070 people. We hired 50 teachers, 32 male and the rest female.”
