KABUL (Pajhwok): Following appreciation of the US dollar against the Afghani currency, the prices of fuel has increased by five percent and food by nearly four percent during the outgoing week in capital Kabul, market sources said Saturday.
The US dollar and some other currencies keep appreciating against Afghanis in the last couple of days.
Haji Hussain, owner of Sadaqat Money Exchange Service in Sara-i-Shahzada Market in Kabul, told Pajhwok Afghan News that one US dollar accounted for 89 Afghanis and 1,000 Pakistani rupees 470afs, against last week’s 86afs and 470afs respectively.
