KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) says an anti-polio vaccination drive is all set to kick off today (Monday) in Afghanistan.
The UNICEF Afghanistan tweeted: “Today, 23 May, marks the start of another polio vaccination drive across Afghanistan, as well as a Vitamin A campaign. Please do your part to get every child vaccinated.”
Afghanistan and Pakistan are the only countries in the world where positive polio cases still surface.
