POL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): One person was killed and two others wounded in an explosion inside a chromite mine in the Mohammad Agha district of central Logar province, officials said Tuesday.
Local officials said the explosion caused by gun powder around 12am on Monday night.
Logar police spokesman, Ahmadullah Anas, told Pajhwok Afghan News that three workers of the mine in Mughalkhel area of the district were injured after gun powder used for extraction exploded and hit them.
He said that one person was killed and two others injured in the incident. All of the injured were residents of Kandahar . . .
