Noor Hospital to conduct critical eye operations

KABUL (Pajhwok): Pakistan based Al-Khidmat Foundation supported the launch of critical and laser eye operations at Noor Eye Hospital in Kabul, an official said on Monday.

With financial aid of 20.3 million Pakistan rupees, a special section at Noor Hospital started functioning where critical eye operations will be conducted.

Mawlavi Mohammad DawodMansouri, head of the public health minister’s office, while addressing the inauguration ceremony, said: “On behalf of the people of Afghanistan and the Ministry of Public Health, I would like to express my gratitude to the Pakistani government and Al-Khidmat Foundation for the cooperation and the opening of this ward at Noor Hospital.”

Eye Specialist Dr. ZahirGulZadran said two new wards Retina and Oculoplastics opened at Noor Hospital today.

He said a group of Pakistani eye specialists also arrived at Noor Hospital who would examine patients.
