MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): A woman in Dehdad district of northern Balkh province has paved the way for dozens of children to get free education.
About 100 boys and girls are taught lessons at the teaching facility, who have been deprived of education due to poverty and other reasons.
Head of the education center, Zuhra Siddiqi, told Pajhwok Afghan News that she established the center four months ago to teach children who had been deprived of education.
She said five teachers taught four subjects --- Dari, Quran, English and mathematics --- daily to the students at the facility.
