Over 3,000 Afghan refugees return from Iran in past 2 days

KABUL (Pajhwok): In the past two days more than 3,300 Afghan refugees have returned to Afghanistan from Iran, the Ministry of Repatriation and Refugees (MoRR) said on Thursday.

On its Facebook page the ministry wrote that some of the refugees returned on their own will while some were forced by the Iranian authorities to return.

The ministry said total of 2,425 refugees were forced the leave Iran and the remaining returned on their own will.

It is worth mentioning that the minister of refugees, Mohammad Arsala Kharoti said that in the last 9 months, the total of 700 thousands refugees had returned from Pakistan, Iran and other countries.
