KABUL (Pajhwok): Wasp stings have killed two people in northwestern Faryab province, fuelling concerns among residents.
A doctor in Maimana Hospital told Pajhwok Afghan News that two people have lost their lives to wasp stings during the last two weeks.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the doctor revealed the two individuals, including a woman, were taken seriously ill after they were stung by hornets.
Both died on the way to hospital, according to the source, who said two more people were saved as a result of medical treatment.
