KABUL (Pajhwok): As many as 294 Internally Displaced Person (IDP) families have returned back to homes from Kabul after receiving cash assistance from the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation said on Wednesday.
In a statement the MoRR said that these families were transferred to Badakhshan, Baghlan, Balkh, Faryab, Jawzjan, Kapisa, Kunduz, Parwan, Samangan, Takhar and Sar-i-Pul provinces.
The source said that the UNHCR in addition to transportation facilities also provided each family with $200 in order to support the process.
