Mualvi Sadiqullah Nasrat, Director Repatriation and Refugees, told Pajhwok Afghan News that 50 poor families received poultry hatcheries with all needed facilities.

He said the aid was provided with financial assistance of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and ACRO foundation and distributed in coordination with the Repatriation and Refugee department.

According to him, every family received a solar panel, a battery, two bags (50 kilos) of food for chickens and other necessary equipment for producing chickens.

The survey for identification of other poor and vulnerable families is still ongoing in remote areas of the province.
