KABUL (Pajhwok): The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned recent bombing in capital Kabul.
On its Twitter handle OIC wrote: “The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned in the strongest terms the bomb attack on Friday 5th August 2022 in Sar-e-kariz area in the 6th security district of the Afghan capital #Kabul.”
“The bomb explosions reportedly left a few civilians dead and some others injured, according to official authorities.”
“The deadly #explosions come on the heels of a spate of #violent attacks that have recently shaken the security of the capital #Kabul.”
“These repeated and indiscriminate attacks, the #OIC General Secretariat indicated, reflect the continued volatility of the security situation in #Afghanistan, reiterating its call for firmer endeavors by the de facto authorities to pre-empt such violent attacks against civilians.”
“The #OIC wishes to express its deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and a speedy and full recovery to those who were injured.”
