PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): The number of patients visiting public-sector hospitals in central Logar province has doubled, officials say.
Dr. Siddiqullah Stanikzai, director of the Aminullah Khan Logari Hospital, told Pajhwok Afghan News that previously more than 600 patients visited the medical facility daily. But the number had increased to about 1,200, he claimed.
Khalil Rahman, head of the Shafiqullah Ludin Hospital in Mohammad Agha district, also confirmed a spike in daily patient visits to the state-run hospital.
