TALOQAN (Pajhwok): Due to the lack of funds, no development project of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) could be resumed last year in northern Takhar province, a senior official said.
Mullah Azmat Noor Mohammad, the head of the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Directorate, told Pajhwok Afghan News the government had no funds for development projects in Takhar province, but 15 projects were completed with the assistance of other institutions and non-governmental organizations while work on 12 more projects was underway.
