PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): At least nine schools damaged in the past conflict will be rehabilitated by UNICEF in central Logar province, an official said on Monday.
Shahpur Arab, a spokesman for the Education Department, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the nine schools of girls and boys had been damaged in the past conflict in Pul-i-Alam, Mohammad Agha, Charkh and Baraki Barak districts.
The reconstruction process would cost $100,000 funded by UNICEF.
Niammatullah, a resident of Pul-i-Alam, told Pajhwok that hundreds of boys and girls would be facilitated after their schools were rehabilitated.
