MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): An electricity sub-station having the capacity of 20KW worth 13 million afghanis has been put into service in northern Balkh province.
Sardar Wali Saqib, director of the power utility, said the sub-station had the ability to meet the need of 30 industrial factories.
Governor Qudratullah Abu Hamza on the occasion said the government was striving hard to address problems of businesspeople.
Zubair Alizai, a businessman, said the electricity problem of most of factories would be solved with the activation of the new sub-station.
