KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): Residents of Maiwand district of southern Kandahar province say their district was badly affected in the past war and as a result they lack services concerning health, education and other social sectors.
The people of Maiwand district, about 70km away from Kandahar city, say thousands of residents of the district were killed in the past wars, but no attention was paid to the town in the past one year since the Taliban seized back power.
