LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): An Afghan physician has launched free of cost medical operations of 200 cleft lip children in southern Helmand province, an official said on Monday.
Deputy Health Director Dr. Naqibullah Fatih told Pajhwok Afghan News: “The public health directorate welcomed the coordinated series of the 200 cleft lip operations launched by Doctor Abdul Ghafar Ghoyur in Helmand province”.
The series of the operations will take few days while the number of the registered ones has reached 300 and the directorate of public health tried to find a solution for the treatment of the remaining 100 as well, Fatih added . . .
