KABUL (Pajhwok): US special representative for Afghanistan Thomas West and Dr. Abdullah Abdullah have insisted on intra-Afghan dialogue for peace stability in the country.
Abdullah, former head of the High Council for National Reconciliation, wrote on his Facebook page he had a telephonic conversation with West.
He thanked the US for its humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan and added: "Both sides called the opening of girls schools above sixth grade the demand and need of the Afghan people. We emphasized the need for genuine intra-Afghan dialogue for lasting peace and stability and to strengthen national unity . . .
