PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): With the reopening of the Friendship Gate, Afghanistan-Pakistan trade and cross-Durand Line movement resumed on Monday.
Officials from Afghanistan and Pakistan agree on the reopening of the Spin Boldak-Chaman crossing at the latest flag meeting this morning.
The crossing stayed shut for more than a week after an armed individual opened fire on Pakistani security personnel at Friendship Gate.
Security forces from both sides shook hands after the reopening of the gate. Customs clearance and immigration operations also resumed.
