KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Residents have called for the reconstruction of a key bridge linking the Qala-i-Zal district and Aaq Tepa area of northern Kunduz province.
The inhabitants, using boats to go from one area to the other, urged the relevant officials to prioritise the reconstruction of the vital link.
Abdul Ghafoor, who hails from Qala-i-Zal district, said: “This bridge connects people of 80 villages with Kunduz City.”
He pointed out: “As the water level rises in spring, cars and other belongings of residents often sink into the river.”
