PARON (Pajhwok): A woman was killed and three persons injured when a pick up vehicle skidded off the road and overturned in the Bargi Matal district of eastern Nuristan province, police said on Saturday.
Bargi Matal district police chief Mualvi Ziaur Rahman Farooqi told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place yesterday afternoon in Afsai village.
One person died and three others were injured in the incident, he added.
Gul Zaman, a resident of the area, told Pajhwok that a woman had died and three people were injured in the accident.
The victims were travelling from the center of Bargi Matal district to Pachigram valley when their vehicle veered off the road and overturned in Afsai village.
